Lead Enrichment

Filling in missing details on a contact or company record from external data sources to make it more complete.

Definition

Lead enrichment is the process of adding missing or updated information to a lead record, such as job title, company size, email, phone, social profiles, or firmographics, by matching against external datasets. It turns a thin record (a name and a company) into a fuller, more actionable one. Enrichment improves targeting, personalization, and routing, and is closely related to data append and reverse append.
